Valerie Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli is an American actor. She was born on April 23, 1960 [2. She made her debut in her adolescence, playing Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984) in which she took home the two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Miniseries or Television Film. Following that she made her debut as an adult in the sitcom Touched by an Angel 2001-2003 as well as Melanie Moretti in the sitcom Hot in Cleveland 2010-2015. The latter earned her an Screen Actors Guild Award. In 2012, she was awarded an award at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bertinelli has hosted numerous shows for Food Network, such as the cooking shows Valerie's Home Cooking (2015-2023) and Kids Baking Championship (2015-present) with two Daytime Emmy Awards for the former out of six nominations. In the month of December, 2021, Bertinelli announced a contract extension in partnership with the Food Network.Bertinelli was a wife to singer-songwriter Eddie Van Halen from 1981 to 2007, with whom she has a son named Wolfgang.
